Preparation For The Sacrament of First Eucharist

Open to registered parishioners 2nd Grade and Older

This is the Sacrament where you will receive the true presence of Jesus - body, soul and divinity - in the Holy Eucharist.  You/we become a living tabernacle for Jesus!  Wow!  I know you are excited to receive Jesus with the whole community and we can’t wait for you (your child) to join us!

We want your child to understand what – or rather WHO – they will be receiving.

In order to help them understand, our 1st Communion sacramental preparation is held both at home and at church.  When the class meets at church, they meet on the same days as the 1st – 5th Graders (generally on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month) from 6:30-7:45 pm. There is also a special retreat for children and parents/guardians. The retreat is held on a Saturday morning in the spring from 9 am – noon.
