Sacramental Preparation

  • First Eucharist

    The preparation process for First Eucharist consists of grade-level Faith Formation sessions starting in September and completing sessions both at the parish and at home. Children must be in at least the 2nd Grade. Preparation also includes attending a parent/child retreat scheduled in March on a Saturday from 9-noon, completing 5 hours of service in the community, attending Mass weekly. The Sacrament will be celebrated as a group in early May.



  • First Reconciliation

    The preparation process for First Reconciliation consists of participating in the grade-level Faith Formation starting in September and completing sessions both at the parish level and at home. Children must be in at least the 2nd Grade. Preparation also includes attending a parent/child retreat scheduled in January on a Saturday from 9-noon, completing 5 hours of service in the community, attending Mass weekly, and attending the First Reconciliation Celebration in February.

  • Confirmation

    "Be  sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit!"  Be strengthened for service to the Body of Christ!  You will be plunged into a deeper Baptismal life in the Holy Spirit with the Sacrament of Confirmation.  You will be called to be a missionary witness of Jesus Christ to your family, neighborhood, society, and world!  (from the USCCB)


    The preparation process for Confirmation consists of a two year program, 10 service hours per year and second year students will have sessions with their sponsors. Confirmation is generally in 9th grade or older.
