Confirmation

"Be  sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit!"  Be strengthened for service to the Body of Christ!  You will be plunged into a deeper Baptismal life in the Holy Spirit with the Sacrament of Confirmation.  You will be called to be a missionary witness of Jesus Christ to your family, neighborhood, society, and world!  (from the USCCB)

The preparation process for Confirmation consists of having participated in and completed the 7-8th Grade program, or the equivalent thereof, starting in September and attending the twice monthly sessions at the parish, and the required sessions at home with their sponsors. Youth must be in at least the 9th Grade.

Preparation for Confirmation is held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, 6:30-7:45 p.m., from Sept. through April. Completing 20 hours of service in the community, attending Mass weekly, completing 2 home assignments with their sponsor, and attending the Confirmation Rite in March/April are all a part of the process of preparation for Confirmation.
