First Eucharist
The preparation process for First Eucharist consists of grade-level Faith Formation sessions starting in September and completing sessions both at the parish and at home. Children must be in at least the 2nd Grade. Preparation also includes attending a parent/child retreat scheduled in March on a Saturday from 9-noon, completing 5 hours of service in the community, attending Mass weekly. The Sacrament will be celebrated as a group in early May.
First Reconciliation
The preparation process for First Reconciliation consists of participating in the grade-level Faith Formation starting in September and completing sessions both at the parish level and at home. Children must be in at least the 2nd Grade. Preparation also includes attending a parent/child retreat scheduled in January on a Saturday from 9-noon, completing 5 hours of service in the community, attending Mass weekly, and attending the First Reconciliation Celebration in February.
Confirmation
"Be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit!" Be strengthened for service to the Body of Christ! You will be plunged into a deeper Baptismal life in the Holy Spirit with the Sacrament of Confirmation. The preparation process for Confirmation consists of a two year program, 10 service hours per year and second year students will have sessions with their sponsors. Confirmation is generally in 9th grade or older.
