Sacraments
Baptism
This Sacrament identifies us and sanctifies us with Christ. We offer preparation for parents of children,
as well as preparation for adults to receive this sacrament of initiation.
Please contact the parish to schedule the baptism of your child.

First Eucharist
The preparation process for First Eucharist consists of grade-level Faith Formation sessions starting in
September and completing sessions both at the parish level and at home. Children must be in at least
the 2nd Grade. Preparation also includes attending a parent/child retreat scheduled in March on a
Saturday from 9-noon, completing 5 hours of service in the community, attending Mass weekly.
First Reconciliation is celebrated at the end of the Retreat.
The Sacrament will be celebrated as a group in early May.
First Reconciliation
The preparation process for First Reconciliation consists of participating in the grade-level
Faith Formation starting in September and completing sessions both at the parish level and
at home. Children must be in at least the 2nd Grade. Preparation also includes attending a
parent/child retreat, completing 5 hours of service in the community, attending Mass weekly, and attending the First Reconciliation Celebration.
Confirmation
The preparation process starting in September and attending the Wednesday sessions at the parish, completing 20 hours of service in the community, attending Mass weekly, completing home assignments. Second year projects and reflections completed with their sponsor, a confirmation retreat. The Confirmation Rite is generally celebrated in March or April at the Basilica or Cathedral.
Marriage
Couples are asked to call the parish at least six months prior to a proposed wedding date.

Anointing Of The Sick
In this Sacrament we pray that the sick be healed in body, in soul, and in spirit.
We offer Anointing of the Sick and/or Elderly after Masses on the first weekend of the month.
Persons who are seriously ill or injured are invited to call the parish office to arrange for an anointing.
Family members are encouraged to be present.
